Innovation for Agriculture are delighted to announce the launch of The Greatest Online Agricultural Show, an online based agricultural show that we are proud to be supporting. In these difficult times, the impact of the necessary cancellation of agricultural shows will be felt throughout the agricultural community. The Greatest Online Agricultural Show is an initiative which will run as an online virtual showground, facilitating usual show activities.
The show will take place on May 2nd 2020 and will host a range of events that would be expected at an agricultural show. From livestock classes to rural craft demonstrations and farming lectures, there will be a varied to attract people from both the farming community and the general public.
The main arena attractions include the JCB dancing diggers, the legendary Vulcan Bomber, a vintage tractor rally, a grand Livestock Parade and much more!
With all funds going to the following charities; R.A.B.I, R.S.A.B.I, FCN, YANA and DPJ Foundation, businesses are invited to apply for a virtual trade stand, at a starting donation of £10.
Trade stands will be customisable to each business and will provide an opportunity for advertisement, sales and networking with consumers.
The livestock showing classes have now been launched and entries will close on the 29th April. Entries are free although an honesty box will allow for any charitable donations. Entries to be made at: http://www.onlineagshow.co.uk
Attendees will be able to access the virtual showground from 9:00am on Saturday morning and the show will close at 5pm. There will be a few activities continuing in the beer tent on Saturday evening, including a DJ!
Whilst a virtual show cannot replace the agricultural shows that are at the heart of farming community, The Greatest Online Agricultural Show hopes to lift the spirits of our agricultural industry, by providing farming entertainment in an online meeting place, and offering a much-needed service to rural businesses.
